I do not know what a higgildy piggildy is, but I do not recommend getting caught in one or getting caught kissing one. =|

Is this the same as higgledy-piggledy? (Or even higgledy piggledy.) I wouldn't worry about kissing one. It's not a noun. :)

Actually I did some investigation!
As it now turns out, the term higgledy-piggledy refers to the creature (now extinct) known as the higgildy piggildy, genus Sephriprudinus chronomoronus, and it's extinction should come as no surprise when you understand that it was a strange beast who's burrow was constantly and unforgivably messy, and for whom it had no friends as it was chronically incapable of ever being on time. (Archeologists have determined that this was due to an inability to ever set their watches properly.)
Language is a strange wobblegonger. o_O
